Kia EV6: Front Glass Weatherstrip

Removal

1.Fully open the moving glass.

2.Remove the front glass weatherstrip (A).

Installation

1.Install in reverse order of removal.

Be careful not to install the weatherstrip in reverse by referring to the cross-section below.

For smooth insertion, apply soapy water to the insert part of the weather strip.

Inspection

Repair in case of front glass weatherstrip noise generated.

1.Fully open the moving glass.

2.After cleaning the surface of the front weather strip, apply silicone oil thoroughly.

3.Close the moving glass.

4.Check if there is the noise from the front glass weatherstrip.
