Vehicle pulls to one side

Suspected Cause Correction
Defect on front suspension and steering gear. Adjust or replace
Wheel bearing seized Replacement
Unbalanced wear of tires Adjust wheel alignment

Vibration

Suspected Cause Correction
Over abrasion, separation, damaged or bended on driveshaft Replacement
Wheel bearing excessive play Replacement

Shimmy

Suspected Cause Correction
Inappropriated wheel balance Adjust or replace
Defect on front suspension and steering gear. Adjust or replace

Noise

Suspected Cause Correction
Excessive worn, damaged, or bended driveshaft Replacement
Noise on connecting part of driveshaft and hub while driving straight, back or curve (Clicking or Creaking noise) Tighten hub nuts
Noise from inner side of shaft while driving curve (Repeated tapping noise) Replacement
Friction noise on driveshaft boots (Sticky noise) Clean and apply fluorine lubricant
Damaged or burnt of driveshaft damper (Booming noise) Replace damper kit
Loosen hub nut Adjust
Defect on front suspension and steering gear. Adjust or replace
Loosen disc screw Adjustment
Noise on wheel bearing while driving (Whir noise) Replacement
Wheel bearing has excessive play, contacted surface of flange burnt Replacement

Leakage

Suspected Cause Correction
Leakage of grease on driveshaft boots (partial parts replacement when inboard side boots has leakage) Replace

Rust

Suspected Cause Correction
Corrosion on nonpainting area (Not a problem for functioning) Explain to the customer it is normal

ABS warning lamp illuminated

Suspected Cause Correction
Loosen wheel bearing sensor and sensor cable Adjustment
Contaminated wheel bearing sensor connector Cleaning
Communication error (Diagnosis using KDS) Adjustment
