Kia EV6: Removal and Installation - 2WD

Removal

Coolant Inlet Temperature Sensor

1.Disconnect the battery negative ( - ) terminal and the service interlock connector.(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery")

2.Remove the front trunk.(Refer to Body - "Front Trunk")

3.Disconnect the coolant inlet temperature sensor connector (A).

4.Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

(1)Remove the coolant temperature sensor pin (A).

(2)Remove the coolant inlet temperature sensor (B).

Battery Heater Temperature Sensor

1.Disconnect the battery negative ( - ) terminal and the service interlock connector.(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery")

2.Remove the front trunk.(Refer to Body - "Front Trunk")

3.Disconnect the battery heater temperature sensor connector (A).

4.Remove the battery heater coolant temperature sensor.

(1)Remove the battery heater coolant temperature sensor pin (A).

(2)Remove the battery heater coolant temperatue sensor (B).

Battery Coolant Temperature Sensor

1.Disconnect the battery negative ( - ) terminal and the service interlock connector.(Refer to Battery Control System - "Auxiliary 12 V Battery")

2.Remove the front rear under cover.(Refer to Motor and Reduction Gear System - "Front Under Cover")

3.Disconnect the battery coolant temperature sensor connector (A).

4.Remove the battery coolant temperature sensor.

(1)Remove the battery coolant temperature sensor pin (A).

(2)Remove the battery coolant temperature sensor (B).

Installation

Coolant Inlet Temperature Sensor

1.Install in the reverse order of removal.

Battery Heater Temperature Sensor

1.Install in the reverse order of removal.

Battery Coolant Temperature Sensor

1.Install in the reverse order of removal.
