On Vehicle Inspection

Diagnosis With KDS

1.The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) driving can be more quickly diagnosed for problems by using the KDS (Refer to "DTC guide").

(1)Self diagnosis : Checking failure and (DTC).

(2)Sensor data : Checking the system input / output data state.

(3)Forced operation : Checking the system operating condition.

(4)Additional function : Controlling other features including system option setting and zero point adjustment.

Basic Inspection

• If fault diagnosis using KDS is impossible, a basic inspection needs to be performed.

1.Basic inspection is performed as follows.

(1)Check battery terminals and state of charge.

(2)Check fuses and relays.

(3)Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

(4)Check the connectors and wiring for damage.
